Summertime Rolls

It' s been a busy, lazy summer, in that usual oxymoronic way. Way too busy and and way too lazy for blogging anyways. And besides, Mamuks says blogging is bad because it makes her procrastinate from writing her dissertation. And the last thing Papuks needs is something new to keep him at the computer! But nonetheless, here we are.
And here's what we've been up to this summer.

But in June we got to kick back, take a break and go visit our friends, Karlis and Silvija Grava, in Boston.
Then there was Jani at Sidrabene. You know, the regular beer and cheese sort of thing.

Its also been a busy summer for birthdays, too. First, our cousin Annika was born on June 14th. Very exciting. We can' t wait to meet her in August.
And then Baby Summer had her first birthday on June 24th. That was a very busy day, cuz it was also Jani, so we schlepped back and forth between the parties.

And then Baby River Ward-Pacitti had his 0 -th birthday on July 7th! Excellent. More smallish people to hang out with.

On Canada day we went to Tanta Dace's and Uncle Rot's up on Lake Dyson. Nan caught a big fish. Hugo was hungry.

And a couple of weeks ago we watched Vecdzanitis and Nan get the pants beat off them at the Dragon Boat races (doesn't he look a little too relaxed?)
And when we get bored Mamuks lets us do fun things, like self-tatooing.

And after all that hard work, we go to bed. Going to bed is sometimes hard work, too. Sometimes you have to wear safety goggles.
