First days

... in the life of the newest arrival (yet to receive her official 'iesauka')

1. B-Day minus one: baby is knocking at the door, but doesn't want to come out. So we wait. And wait. And wait.


2. B-day arrives with some thoughtful timing on Dz's part (after work for some, before bed for other, etc! what a considerate girl... ) As a result she had a plethora of loving and helping hands to welcome her into the world.

4. And the tub could not be returned without the big sibs giving it a run for its money as well! (this was also the occasion of Vecais' now famous quote, as he and his sis were playing "dolphin rides": "Hey K, stick a coin in my butt and come for a ride!")

The Wait (The Weight!)

What better way to spend the first hours of waiting through those early uterine contractions, thinks your Faithful Blogger, than finally catching up with the Blog?

So, here are some snippets of the last few months, before everything changes, once again....

And a few days ago, on the 'cheapskates' RBG tour' with the recently arrived IKEA delivery...

More general springtime springing...


Then, back in March, Opis the worker-bee came by for some hard manual labour (he certainly earned his keep)
And sometime before that, it was apparently the Thaw Season, and even Winter....

... including another trip down to Sniegaine, replete with snow frolics, indoor craftiness, and the annual performance of the K&S singing sensation!




(Okay that killed a couple of hours. It is a MYTH, by the way, that third babies always just pop out like a champagne cork....)
