Boston Turkies (Tofurkies?)

(Still in the vein of autumn catch-up...)

For our own gobbler days, we packed up the van and headed down to New England to visit the G-G's (and KK and SS... and those were the only double-letters we managed to round up).

(as always, no party is complete until Vecais takes his pants off)

Karaoke goodbyes!

Woods & Bikes

Perhaps and quite possibly our two favourite things.

Fertilizing

Amidst our various fall frollicks, the kidlets thoroughly enjoyed various stints at agro-school, care of our friendly neighbourhood farmer and good friend Kelly, and her friend with the flower-power and tractor-pull, Shane. Support your neighbourhood farmer! Yummy, lovely, and good for the earth!

(deep conversation among the wildflowers)
(Shane's favourite flower)

(popcorn!)

(ground cherries - Shane's best kept and yummiest secret!)

Next Stop - Squatting with the King of Sweden

While Mamuks may have missed out on Jolly England, she did ditch work long enough to nip across the pond for an extended week of herring and potatoes - meeting the rest of the fam in Sweden, as they took a week's break from their British adventures.

Here we are hanging with S& J in Stockholm (and its fabulous parks):

But we quickly shipped out to the Archipelago, where we reposed, Swedish style, at S&J's 'summer home':

In the garden, with various implements:

Enjoying a traditional crayfish meal:

Hiking, picnics, water sports, a visit from the Filks' family...

(notice S's swedish meatball is still at this point in the oven!)

(Vecais, modest as ever...)

And back to Stockholm for a visit to Skansen - and of course, the Pippi museum!
