Breaker, breaker, one two three... Do you read me?

Here we see Mudzuks (a.k.a. "B.J.") and Aleksis (a.k.a "The Bear") trying out one of M's xmas gifts (thanks to the Brussels Outlaws!), while Mamuks and Papuks ponder the various possibilities that such new lines of communication might open. (Papuks and Mudzuks experimented with these later in the day, when Mamuks overheard Papuks talking into his end of the headset: "Labi, Mudzuk--, iztaisi curkstiti, uzvelci biksites un tad mes varam so sarunu turpinat.")

Snow Job

Just in case any of our faithful readers are living in tropical climes, here's a taste of what you are so woefully missing.

We got wallopped with a good 2 feet of snow yesterday, but that didn't stop the Intrepids from heading outdoors, initially by vehicular transport...


... although 'twas not our most stellar idea of the day. Here we are walking the last block home because Brunais couldn't quite make it up the unploughed street. Luckily we have nice neighbours with half-empty driveways!

Vecais turns 3! ...er... I mean, 2!

Yes, Vecais made his way beyond prime numbers this weekend past, with a family celebration and a bit of birthday-honouring on the actual day at home, as well. Mamuks was pretty convinced that it had only been 2 short years since that particular watermelon went shooting from her loins, although others did their best to convince her otherwise. Nanny, for example, gave Vecais a card that said "You're 3!", while Vecais, when asked was (and still is) exceptionally adamant that he is "tris" (three).

Frosty

The season of snow (winter, I suppose) has finally arrived. In style too. Vecais was first to check it out, and rated it "ooooooooo" and "aaahhhhhh" until he lost a glove and the cold started to bite and it was a "waaaaaaaaa" rating. The old (garage sale) toboggan has been dusted off and will soon see active service. Meanwhile Mamuks is rating the weather as "brrrrrrrrrrr".
